Makisu bamboo sushi-mat - Japanese mat for rolling sushi and rolls, consisting of thin bamboo sticks tied with cotton thread. The optimal size of the mat is 27 x 27 cm, perfect for the nori sheet. The semicircular section of the rug sticks will allow you to comfortably hold the mat in your hands and twist the roll. In addition to rolling rolls, lovers of Japanese cuisine have found several other uses for makisu: removing excess moisture from a Japanese omelet; pressing greens and lettuce after washing; for table setting; as a hot stand.
